Members are able to select and pick up their vegetables on their schedule and may select any combination of vegetables and herbs to complete their allocation. We recommend following the monthly amount but you can redeem your items anytime in the membership window. Vegetables are available on a first come, first served basis. Memberships begin in early June and end in late November.

You can pay in full or opt to put down a non-refundable 50% deposit and pay the remainder the next month.

If you would like to split your payment in two, please select your preferred share size’s “deposit” option when ordering. Details about when the second payment is due will be provided upon order. If you are in need of a different payment plan please contact us at sales@spaceonryderfarm.org. All payments are due by June 1.

Flowers are not eligible for the membership fulfillment.

Please note that any membership items not redeemed will be forfeited at the end of the season (Nov. 21). SPACE cannot provide any refund (in-part or whole) for unredeemed vegetables.

What is the time frame of the Membership?

The 2024 Membership will last from early June to late November (six months).

What do you grow?

We grow a large selection of vegetables throughout the season—and our stand changes week to week based on what is fresh from the fields. A sample of last year’s vegetables include: Kale, Spring Onion, Beets, Green Garlic, Turnips, Cilantro, Broccolini, Scapes, Kohlrabi, French Breakfast Radishes, Scallions, Summer Crisp Lettuce, Fennel, Cherry Tomatoes, Carrots, Basil, Slicing Tomatoes, Summer Squash, Eggplant, Salad Cucumbers, Green Peppers, Garlic, Potato Mix, Parsley, a variety of pumpkins. The 2024 season may include these and new items.

When and where do I pick up vegetables?

Our farmstand is located at 406 Starr Ridge Rd in Brewster, NY. There is a small parking area right off the road in front of our two farmstand buildings (pictured). Make sure to open the door to the brown, shingled building to find our cold storage space—which helps keep our delicate vegetables fresh. When Memberships begin in June (don’t worry, we’ll send you a season opening announcement), the stand is stocked on Friday mornings and remains open 24hr/day through Wednesday AM. Stop by any time to pick your week's vegetables. We do note that vegetables are first come, first serve and selection may be limited as the open window continues. The stand is closed on Thursdays.

What if I am out of town or need more for a special event?

Having a large party? Pick up most of your month at once. Out of town? Simply double your order on another visit or spread out an extra item or two over other weeks. We'll have a member log at the Farmstand to help you keep track of what you have used.

What kinds of vegetables do you have?

Vegetables vary weekly based on seasonality, harvest, weather conditions, and stock. However, some common items we grow include carrots, tomatoes, onion, garlic, varieties of peppers, potatoes, various herbs, squash, kale, cucumbers, and more.

What about flowers?

Due to tax eligibility, we are unable to include flowers in our membership program. Flowers must be purchased separately using our online checkout.

What counts as an item?

Our vegetables and herbs come in different ways. An item can be a bundle of basil, a quart container of cucumbers, a pint of cherry tomatoes, or a head of cabbage. Our Farm Manager, Adam, does his best to make quantities easily recognizable. For instance, in the photo, one item = one blue container.
