The evening will feature a communal farm-to-table meal on Ryder Farm’s outdoor lawn alongside a performance by singer songwriter Justin Levine.
Justin works as a composer, music director, orchestrator and actor in New York City. He served as Musical Director/Orchestrator and cast member for the hit musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson both on Broadway and at the Public Theater, was MD/Orchestrator for the critically acclaimed rock opera Murder Ballad at Manhattan Theater Club, MD for David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's Here Lies Love at the Public Theater, and held down multiple jobs as MD/Orchestrator and playing the role of Moth in Shakespeare in the Park's production of Love’s Labors Lost, adapted by Alex Timbers and Michael Friedman. Last summer, he was Music Supervisor for Contemporary Color, a concert event at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center conceived and directed by David Byrne. This past fall, he sang backup for Adele’s NBC special at Radio City Music Hall.
As a writer/composer Justin's favorite credits include: Bonfire Night (Book, Music & Lyrics), The Madam C.J. Walker Project (Music & Lyrics), Jump Jim Crow: How to Produce Your Own Minstrel Show (Music & Lyrics), Halfway Home (Music & Lyrics, Book by Adam Bock), and Pepper and Sam (created with Salty Brine).
He has toured with the Clinton Curtis Band all over the country as well as Saudi Arabia as part of the U.S. State Department’s American Voices initiative. He currently lives in Queens.

Our food for the evening is brought to you by Brendan Spieth. Brendan is a contributing chef at SPACE on Ryder Farm. He has cooked at Egg and Parish Hall in Brooklyn, under the tutelage of Maude Semas, Evan Hanczor, and George Weld. His pick-back brine was recommended by New York Magazine. He has been known to tinker some songs out on a ukulele.
