TAMARA WHITE

Dr. Tamara White is a distinguished writer, researcher, and educator committed to social justice, arts activism, and educational equity. She founded Bader+Simon, an arts organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio, that supports underrepresented artists and fosters socially engaged creative practices. Through their Bader+Simon Empowerment Grant, the organization provides support and mentorship to underrepresented artists. Additionally, the Engaging Futures Internship offers education and opportunities to currently incarcerated individuals, assisting with their reentry.

Dr. White’s research and writing explore intersections of art, activism, and marginalized identities, emphasizing the power of creative expression as a tool for advocacy and systemic change. She remains dedicated to expanding arts education and empowering historically excluded voices.
