Born and raised in the well-mannered dairyland of Wisconsin, JOHN DELORE moved to Brooklyn in 2003 to face his fear of large crowds and to pursue a career in music and audio engineering. Around the same time John began his radio career at WNYC, he began performing music. In both careers he assumed the moniker “The Reverend John DeLore.” (Q: Why the Reverend? A: Tequila played a part. So did Joseph Campbell). John has released 5 albums, written two books of poems, and worked on numerous podcasts and radio shows. He enjoys reading Dostoevsky by moonlight, and still dislikes large crowds.
John recorded the song included in the download sampler at the farm (check out a video of his process at SPACE below)! He also helped to create a partnership between SPACE and Stitcher to develop new podcast/audio storytelling projects at the farm.
