Carrie Coon is one of Hollywood’s most exciting emerging talents. This year, she received her first Emmy nomination for her work in FX’s Fargo, and made history by winning the first ever double TCA Award for Individual Achievement in Drama for Fargo and her work in the HBO series The Leftovers. Coon will return to the NY stage this fall in Amy Herzog’s Mary Jane at the New York Theatre Workshop. She recently wrapped production on Stephen Spielberg’s The Papers and on Steve McQueen’s heist thriller Widows. Coon’s breakout role was in the Oscar nominated film Gone Girl. On stage her credits include Magnolia at the Goodman Theater, Three Sisters, The March and Mary Page Marlowe at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Placebo at Playwrights Horizons, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? on Broadway, for which she received a Tony Award nomination for Featured Actress.
The festivities will include a performance from Great Comet creator
Dave Malloy and music from Michael Thurber and Lauren Henderson.
