What’s your name? Where are you from?
Robert Akins. I’m from Cypress Texas.

What are you working on at SPACE?
I am working on a play called
 Permission.

How have you been spending your time up here?
Writing in the morning. Rehearsing in the afternoon. Drinking in the evening.

What have you got coming up after SPACE?
Well, I do have a play called Hand to God that is opening at the Lortel in February. I have a pilot that is currently being read that I am very excited about. I have another in the works. I am also doing The Serials at the Flea, which is a whole lot of fun. I think that rounds it out. When we get back to the city we’ll probably show Permission at EST or the Flea.

If you could be reincarnated as a farm animal, what farm animal would you be?
That’s a really great question. I’d be a barn spider. Because they sit and wait for things to come to them. They spin their little webs and they eat things whole. IS THAT CREEPY ENOUGH FOR YOU SPACE ON RYDER FARM?
